Electric car prices are NOT coming down by 2040, they will simply continue to rise as electricity becomes even more expensive due to ballooning demand, poor and middle class will not be able to afford them, of course ruling class really could not give less of a shit about restricting the mobility of the unwashed masses. So if you are waiting for your Z to go up in value, you have 23 years to get whatever you think it should sell for....because the values of these cars is going to completely crater if this happens here.
